New Bag!!!!

This is my gorgeous new bag! This is called the Business Class Black Purse from the designer Nila Anthony. It was featured in Oprah's magazine, and can also be found on Lulu's website. (Click here!)  This bag comes in other colors too, so you can definitely find one to fit your style! It also comes with a detachable shoulder strap.  Shoulder straps are so hot right now.  Sometimes, I do like carry my bag by hand though. This bag lets me do both. The best part about this bag though....it's only $29.00!!!  I am in love with it (nope, I'm not being paid to say any of this, I'm just super excited about this bag!!!  I just thought I would share it with you guys, because it's a really great deal, and a super cute bag! Sally Beauty Supply Haul

This is the Tangle Teezer brush, and it is a life saver! I used it for the first time tonight, and it effortlessly removed the tangles from my hair.  Normally, it can take up to an hour to brush out my long, thick hair.  However, with this little brush, it took only a few minutes to remove all of the tangles from my hair, and I didn't feel any pain like I normally do when I use a wide tooth comb! This product truly is a miracle, and definitely worth $9.99.  I may have to go back and get a back-up brush just in case something happens to this one! I would hate to be without one!

New Wedges: Dolce Vita for Target

I was so excited to see a collection of wedge heel sandals from Dolce Vita at Target.  I loved the prior collection from Dolce Vita for Target, and I love this one too! This collection has a lot of beautiful wedges, and I may go back and get some more! The prices are $24.99-$29.99, so it's not bad at all! The ones I picked today are these brown leather wedges with two side buckles, and they zip up the back! These seem super comfy so far, so I'm ready for spring to get here so that I can officially rock these!

Hair Stuffies I'm Trying!

So, if you just watched my latest haul video, then you have already seen these products. Some people watch my vids, and others just read the blog, so sometimes it may seem like a bit of a repeat, so you can just scan through to find what you are interested in reading and skip over the other stuff! I just don't want any readers to feel out of loop on anything.

Anyway, let's get started! I have never really spent a lot of time on my hair, but I have gotten interested in it lately. At my last trip to the salon, I asked about every product the stylist was using because I was actually so pleased with everything she did. It's a miracle because normally I have the worst salon experiences! I have been buying hair products trying to find some that work great for my hair so that I can have that salon feeling everyday!

Here are some of the latest products I have purchased:

This the the Straight Sexy Hair Deep Conditioning Masque.  This is for thick/coarse hair, and I definitely have thick hair.  This works to deep condition and straighten the hair.  It has definitely made my hair a lot softer and easier to manage.  I am sure the shea butter is partially to thank for the softness!

This is the Paul Mitchell Hot Off The Press heat protect spray.  It smells soooooooooo good.  I really love this stuff.  I use it with before I flat iron my hair to protect my hair from any damage that may be caused by the heat.  This is a product that my stylist uses, and I purchased this from her at the salon.  I love this stuff!!!  It's the best one I have tried.

This product is milk H20+ Silkening Hair Mask.  I haven't tried this product yet, but I am excited about it.  I want to use it when I finish with the Straight Sexy Hair masque.  This one is supposed to restore health, detangle, control frizz and restore softness, and make your hair shiny and silky! I am really excited about this one.

This is the best conditioner I believe I have ever tried.  I can tell a difference in my hair in just the short amount of time I have been using it.  This is another product that my stylist used.  This is the Biosilk Silk Therapy conditioner, and it is amazing! This one conditions and helps to create shine.  I can tell a huge difference in my hair after using this.  I use this after rinsing the hair masque, and it really leaves my hair very soft and managable.  Before, it would take like an hour to comb through my tangled hair after washing.  Tonight, it only took a couple of minutes! It was a breeze!!!

This flat iron is similar to one used by my stylist.  It is the GVP (General Value Products) 1 inch flat iron.  It's metallic pink, and so far I really like it.  I have heard a lot of people say negative things about this one because of it being ceramic coated and not entirely ceramic, but I think it's silly because lots of other flat irons are ceramic coated as well, even some of the more expensive ones! I like this one just fine.  I don't like it as well I like my Cortex flat iron, but I do really like this one.  I go back and forth between the two.  They both have adjustable temp settings, which is sooooo nice! The GVP is from Sally Beauty Supply.  I believe I paid $49.99 for it.  Cortex irons can be purchased online from several sites.

Anyway, that's what's new with me and my hair so far.  Things are looking up! Hopefully, my hair will continue to become more healthy and managable! I am sure I will update on it again in the future

OOTD- Comfy Blue

Top- Dots
Jeggings- Target
Boots- Old Navy
Jewelry- Dots
Bag- Mulberry for Target

Old Navy Deals!

My hubby and I have been out enjoying the day together.  We had lunch at Five Guys, and then stopped by Old Navy.  Old Navy always seems to have amazing deals! A lot of their stuff was marked down, and then it was an additional 40% off of the marked down price! What a steal!!!!  I ended up spending $36.70, and here's what I got:

Gray henley style top with pocket (Originally $14.50, I got it for:  $8.50)

They had a lot of beautiful colorful scarves, so I chose this one because it had gray to match the henley, and it had a bright blue and green in it.  (Original price:  $12.50,  I paid $8.50)

Closer view of the scarf

This necklace has several different feminine elements running through it.  It has the pearls, the jewels, the ribbon, and the gold chains.  It's so beautiful! I love it! (Original price:  $16.50,  I paid:  $3.58).

This dress is black with white ribbons tied in a bow all over it.  It has several different layers, which are nice because they can help conceal some trouble areas!  The straps on the dress are a black satin ribbon material. I am hoping they will hold up well, but I'm not sure! (Original price, $29.50,  I paid:  $5.39).

Satin ribbon straps

The ribbon print on the dress, such cute bows!

Last, I bought this pair of dark bronze boots with a nice, warm, furry interior.  (These were originally $29.50, and I paid $8.69 for them).

There were a lot of cute things in the store, and tons of cute jewelry marked down to super low prices too! I may have to go back when I have more time to spend going through the racks!

Jeans- Walmart
Cardigan- Target
Shoes- Target
Neck Warmer- Dots
Headband- Target
Earrings- Dolce & Gabbana

NOTD: Revlon Top Speed in "Bubble"

I wasn't sure what to expect from this nail polish because I hadn't tried Revlon nail polishes before, but  I was pleasantly surprised! I have a lot of trouble finding a nail polish formula that works for my finger nails, but this one has been great! It's a nice thick formula that dries quickly.  The color is a beautiful, vibrant pink, and it hasn't chipped so far.  I am planning to go back to Target and get some more of these Top Speed polishes in different colors!

Say It In Style!

I like to express my style and personality in all that I do.  Fashion is one way of showing my style, but I have found another way that I love to use to show my style.  I love beautiful cards, post cards, notebooks, and stationary.  Often, I find really beautiful and inexpensive card sets at Marshall's! All of the sets below were purchased at Marshall's in the past few months.

I love bright colors and fun patterns! This set of cards (above)  was purchased from Marshall's for $4!!!  It includes 18 cards in three different styles and envelopes.

I fell in love with this card set when I found it! This set includes 16 cards, with matching envelopes for $3.99.  I love cupcakes, so of course, I was drawn to these cards! The envelopes are a beautiful lime green with a pink interior.

I found this Barbie notebook at Marshall's for $5.99.  Barbie is a classic, stylish woman for sure! I use notebooks to write down ideas, requests, wish lists, and whatever thoughts I have in my mind at the time.  I love that this notebook has the elastic closure that wraps around to keep all of the pages straight!

I bought this set of cards at Marshall's a while back.  It's one of my faves with the pink and white striped pattern and matching pink envelopes.  I also love the images on the cards with cakes, cupcakes, high heels and pearls! That definitely fits my personality and style.  I don't remember the price of these, but I am sure they were similar to the prices of the other card sets.
