Current Love: Color Contrast Bags
I am currently loving bags with a contrasting color on the straps/handles. It brings a gorgeous pop of color to any look.

More Shoes to Love This Spring!
Here are three more shoes styles that I am loving for this spring. There are so many great styles right now, but there are a few that definitely stand out and interest me.
1. Strappy Sandals
Whether you prefer heels or flats, one thing is for sure, strappy styles are super hot right now, and a perfect choice for spring!
2. The Clog Style/Thicker Heel
The great thing about thicker heels is that they are usually much easier to walk in, so these are sure to give your tootsies a bit of relief and keep you looking stylish. There are a lot of fun styles to play around with, and the clog style is definitely one of my faves right now.
3. Textured Heels- Woven, Rope, Wood, Cork
Different textures definitely add a fun, new flare to any pair of shoes. Some of my materials right now are rope, wood, and cork. They definitely bring new life to a pair of shoes. This is also great if you are bored with a monochrome looks and want to add something unique to your look.

Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner
I was heading to the register at Rite Aid when I realized I needed shampoo and conditioner. Luckily, I saw this duo sitting near the front of the store so I didn't have to turn around and go search the shampoos. This was definitely a choice of convenience, but also of interest. I know the salon Brazilian Keratin treatments have been really popular and somewhat controversial at times. However, this duo of products interested me because it is supposed to help curly/wavy hair and smooth it out. I definitely need that because I have that type of hair, so I am excited about trying these products.
I also think I feel more comfortable using a product like this from a company like Organix. The front of the bottle reads: "An exclusive blend of antioxidant rich cocoa nut oil along with lush keratin proteins to strengthen and soften the hair, while organic avocado oil and cocoa butter smooth the cuticle for straight, strong tresses, adding a brilliant glow and luminescent shine." Sounds nice, right?
Have any of you tried this line of products? Let me know how it worked for you! I'll let you know how it works for me!

Viva Glam Gaga 2 Lipstick and Lipglass
I stopped by MAC today to pick up the newest Viva Glam lippies. These are the Viva Glam Gaga 2 items. I got the lipglass and the lipstick, and I love them both. They are both really nice nude colors. They are a warmer brown tone nude color. It's a really nice, natural look on it's own, but you can do so many things with these colors. Nude colors like this are a really nice addition to any makeup lover's collection!
One of my favorite thing to do with nude lip gloss colors is to first line and fill in my lips with my favorite lipliner (you can get creative with pinks, reds, whatever your faves are). Then, add the gloss on top, and blend it with the liner. This can created some really great looks, and soften up brighter colors, if needed. The lip stick could be used in a similar way, or with a pink or red colored gloss on top to created a unique soft color.
Each item is $14.50, and all of the money goes toward helping individuals with AIDS/HIV. It's a great cause, and great lip colors!
Here are the items I purchased:
MAC Viva Glam Gaga 2 Lipglass
MAC Viva Glam Gaga 2 Amplified Creme Lipstick

Above, wearing Viva Glam Gaga 2 Lipstick with a bright lipgloss over it. It helps tone down brightness to create a more subtle color.
Above, red lipliner with viva Glam Gaga 2 lipglass. This helps create another beautiful subtle look. This would be super cute for spring!

5 Personal Picks for Spring
There are so many fun new trends for spring this year. I am loving a lot of them, but I decided to choose just five of my faves to share with you all. This isn't just a standard list of things I found elsewhere, this is a list of trends that I actually am loving and looking forward to rocking this spring!
When I was looking through google images trying to find photos that suited me, I noticed a lot of polyvore sets. I decided to just nix the idea of googling, hoping to find something I liked, and just created some polyvore sets. I thought it worked out perfectly. I used to use polyvore frequently about two years ago, and then I just didn't seem to have the time, but I may start creating more outfit sets with it and posting them here. I really used to enjoy creating outfits on there. Clicking the images may take you to my polyvore profile, username lmwhit13 (That's an "L" not an "i"). Anyway, I hope you will enjoy my personal picks and loves for spring!
XOXO
1. Florals
2. Gold
3. Brighter Colored Lipsticks in hues of pink, coral, and red
4. Bright Colored Bags

Valentine's Day Goodies
Valentine's Day is a special day for us! It's so great to celebrate love. Some people do bigger gift exchanges on other holidays, like Christmas, but for us, Valentine's Day is our day to treat each other to special gifts, and of course a day of spending time together. We show our love everyday, but there is nothing wrong with doing extra special things every now and then!
Hubby got a new XBox 360 and lots of XBox related things that he had been wanting, and here is what I got...
Well, actually, we both enjoyed the milk chocolate and white chocolate dipped strawberries. They were absolutely delicious!
I got the 2011 Godiva teddy bear. He's holding a little red bag filled with Godiva chocolate hearts! Cute!
I just adore his little sweater and beret!
To show support of new things to come, I got 500 business cards and a very informative book about image consulting. It's helpful because it has charts and worksheets that I will definitely need when I begin doing some styling and image consulting in the near future!
Below is what my cards look like!
Here is me holding my humongous Valentine's Day Card! I love what hubby drew on the front! So cute!!
And here is what the card looks like! Yay! I love it!
This is Season 3 of Beverly Hills 90210. We ordered this at the beginning of January and it took forever to get here, and it arrived kinda banged up, but that's ok! It's my fave season. I love when Brenda and Donna go to Paris, and senior year of course!
Here is the Tiffany & Co. bracelet that hubby bought me.
A closer look:
My initials are engraved on the back!
I hope you guys are all having a great weekend, and that you have an amazing Valentine's Day!
xoxo
