Five Fashionable Plus Size Coats to Try This Fall

For many of us, the weather is finally starting to get cooler, and it finally feels like fall. Now is a great time to find the perfect coat to keep you warm and feeling fashionable through the fall and winter seasons. I’ve been doing some online browsing to check out the latest coat styles and trends for this year. I found some fantastic coats that I think you’re really going to love. Whether you’re getting all dressed up or just going out for a casual shopping day, these versatile designs will compliment your outfit perfectly.

1. The Dress Coat
The Ulla Popkin dress coat is a fresh take on the classic camel colored coat we’ve seen over and over. This coat features a unique assymetrical collar and three button closure. It’s such a great length, and it can instantly turn a look from drab to fab.

2. Classic Long Wool Blend Coat
As it gets colder, I adore wearing long, warm coats. I fell in love with this long wool blend coat by Roaman’s. I really like that it is available in several different colors. Wearing a coat like this is a great way to add a pop of color to your look or set your look apart. This coat is available in camel, heather grey, ruby, black and dark plum.

3. The Pea Coat
The pea coat has always been one of my favorite styles. It’s such a timeless style, so you’ll be able to wear it for years to come. This Jessica London wool pea coat is available in dark green, deep navy, charcoal, black, honey mustard, ruby, and my personal fave, houndstooth. Houndstooth is something that is also always in style, so it is a perfect match for a pea coat.

4. The Military Coat
Military inspired fashion is so trendy right now. If you are a trend lover, then this one will be perfect for you. Instead of being green, black or navy, this military coat is in an unexpected gray. This is a shorter coat, so if you are quite ready to move to the longer, heavier coats just yet, this may be the right one for you.

5. The Plaid Coat
With the 90’s being such an influence over trends right now, plaid is everywhere. If you are looking for new ways to wear plaid, you may want to try this fabulous longline coat in a red and black plaid.
