Plus Size OOTD: Floral Cut Out Cardi and Peach Dress

I have been wanting to wearing this floral cut out cardi for a few weeks, but I couldn't quite get the right outfit combo together. I wish I could take credit for styling this, but truth is, I had a little help! I asked one of my fave gals at Dress & Dwell what she would recommend. She recommended a light color top or dress, like a peach or coral, and I am so glad she did! I usually go for contrasting colors and patterns, so this wasn't an idea I had even considered. Sometimes it is definitely a good idea to ask for help!

I love the softness of this look, and the colors are perfect for a spring Saturday look. I have had this tank dress since last year. I found it in the junior's section at Target. Target always has the cutest little basic dresses in the spring and summer time. I am always checking for new arrivals!

I also have really been wanting to wear these strappy brown sandals that I found at Cato Fashions recently. Their shoes are always so comfy and affordable! I love the chunky heel on these because it makes them more comfy and easier to walk in. I think chunky heels are super cute!

For jewelry, I decided on a couple of interesting pieces. This colorful statement necklace is also from Dress & Dwell. It mixes so well with the light colors of the dress and cardigan. My light green sunglasses are just an inexpensive pair I picked up from Forever 21 last year.

The gold handchain I'm wearing is also from Forever 21. It is accented with rhinestones and turquoise stones. It's a fun, refreshing change from the norm.

Spring Plus Size OOTD: Featuring Jessica London

I love playing around with color, prints and patterns when I am styling outfits. It's so much fun, and really can refresh and brighten an outfit up. When I was picking out this outfit, I thought the jade colored dress would work perfectly with black and white stripes. I thought it would look fun, different and very spring!

Plus Size OOTD: Colorful & Casual

I wore this outfit recently for a Mother's Day dinner with my hubby's family. The weather had been a bit cooler, so I wanted a wanted a look that would work for the weather but still feel very spring. I thought this floral sweat shirt would be perfect. It's colorful and comfortable! I paired it with some of my favorite jeans from Dots, which is unfortunately no longer around. I love the ripped and distressed style of these jeans. They also have a few paint splatters in the design. So fun!

Plus Size OOTD: Peach and Floral

I fell in love with this floral kimona style top at first sight. It looked so beautiful and romantic, but kinda fun with the fringe detail. When I tried it on, it was soooo comfortable, so I had to have it. I wasn't sure what I would wear with it, but I didn't want to pass this beauty up!

Plus Size OOTD: Yay for Spring Weather!

It was so exciting to finally have a beautiful, warm, sunny day! Finally, it feels like spring has actually arrived! Yay! Of course, I immediately took the opportunity to wear a skater skirt and sandals and enjoy what finally feels like a spring outfit! I always feel so alive in the spring!

Yellow is my fave color, so I was very excited to wear my new Alicia sandals by Comfortview from Jessica London. The color is called honey mustard, and it's perfect! Bright, warm colors just make me so happy. They will probably be my go-to sandals for spring and summer because I like the style and they are are soooooooooooooo comfy! (Btw, if you have been on the hunt for some fab new sandals, but always seem to have trouble finding a good fit, Jessica London now has wide and extra-wide widths!)

Anyway, I thought the yellow sandals would fit right in with the yellow in my daisy sweater. I love the all over daisy design. It's just so fun! It makes me think of the 90's, and I heart the 90's.
